Refund policy

The right of withdrawal applies to consumers. The instructions on withdrawal and the model withdrawal form below use the official English wording of Annex I to Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, completed with our details, and apply to you in full. The notes in italics show which rule applies to which of our products. Nothing on this page limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

Instructions on withdrawal

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

  • For orders containing only eBooks (digital content not supplied on a tangible medium): The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.
  • For orders containing goods, i.e. printed books, Psycards or a certification (every certification includes the certificate or Master award that we send by post after you have passed the exam or after approval), for the entire order including any eBooks, the online exam and the customer account in it: The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the goods.
  • For orders containing several goods that are delivered separately (for example the Expert certificate and the Master award if you ordered both together), also for the entire order: The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Neurolytix GmbH, Hauptstraße 127, 68259 Mannheim, Germany, email: info@neurolytix.de) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory.

You can also exercise your right of withdrawal online at https://neuro-webdesign.de/apps/widerruf (link “Withdraw from contract here” at the bottom of every page). If you use this online feature, we will send you an acknowledgement of receipt of the withdrawal on a durable medium (e.g. by email), including its content and the date and time of its submission, without undue delay.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of the supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract. We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

If you have received goods: We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us, without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

We will bear the cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

For the online exam and the customer account included in every certification (service): If you requested to begin the performance of services during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount which is in proportion to what has been provided until you have communicated us your withdrawal from this contract, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract.

When the right of withdrawal ends early

Orders containing only eBooks: your right of withdrawal ends before the 14 days are over only if all of the following apply: we have started to supply the content (for example by giving you access to the download or the online reader); you expressly agreed that we may start before the withdrawal period ends; you confirmed that you are aware that you lose your right of withdrawal as a result; and we have confirmed the contract to you on a durable medium, for example by email. If any of these conditions is not met, the full 14-day withdrawal period applies. Statutory basis: Section 356(6) of the German Civil Code (BGB).

Orders containing goods, including every certification: the full 14-day withdrawal period described above applies from receipt of the (last) goods, for the entire order.
